A call out to Breviceps adspersus, possibly the Cutest Damn Frog Ever. Look at it’s grumpy little face oh my god.

it’s like god gave up. “what’s the bare minimum i can put into creating an animal and have it still live? basically, it’ll just be an amphibian blob.”

I decided to wait another week or two before adding in those expensive  shrimps into my tank. In the mean time I decided to add my Scarlet Badis to my tank to take care of some bug issues.

I lived my life believing I will never have any special skills or talent. Most of my friends were master artists with pens, pencils, paints, and tablets. I tried every subject, but in the end, it was not for me. I gave up on art and started focusing on the wonderful and alienated world of underwater life. That led me to the discovery of nature aquariums. Amazed at it’s beauty, I set out with the intent of recreating a small ecosystem. After 4 years of keeping aquariums, I was suddenly told that I was an amazing artist. Artist; that one word struck me hard. I spent 4 years, caring for aquatic life, just to one day be told that I am an artist. That’s when I finally realized it. Artist, is nothing but a vague description.
